IPT Associates (IPTA) seeks a seasoned QA/Test Engineer to support government testing at Maxwell AFB–Gunter Annex, AL. You’ll lead manual and automated testing, craft robust test scripts, and manage defects with the Government Test Manager.

Requirements include a CS-related Bachelor’s, 5 years in a similar role, DoD 8570 Level II/III, and an active security clearance. Strong communication and RMF testing experience are highly valued.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Five (5) years of prior experience in a similar role.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Active Security Clearance Required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, oversee, and execute all manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression, security, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and database testing.
• Create and maintain detailed manual test cases in government-approved tools.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle and collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
• Support RMF activities by providing testing evidence and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and execute all manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression, security, and performance testing, providing status to the Government Test Manager
• Design, develop, and maintain a suite of robust and reusable automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and database testing
• Create and maintain detailed, step-by-step manual test cases in the government-approved test management tool
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including clear documentation in the government-approved tracking system, direct collaboration with developers to troubleshoot, and verification of all bug fixes
• Support all Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities by providing testing evidence, reports, and other related artifacts upon request

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr
• Five (5) years of prior experience in a similar role
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification
• Active Security Clearance Required
