Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. You will design scalable, secure software solutions and maintain a modern SDMP with CI/CD integration and code reviews.

Ideal candidates have a CS degree, 5 years of experience, proficiency in Angular and Spring Boot, and experience with Jest/JUnit. DoD 8570 Level II/III certification and active security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Testing with Jest and JUnit.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Five (5) years of prior experience in a similar role.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Active Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide design of technical solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and built on nonproprietary, open-standard code.
• Create and maintain a Detailed Software Development Modernization Plan (SDMP) outlining branching strategy, code review processes, and CI/CD integration.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and secure source code in government-owned GIT-based repository and participate in peer code reviews.
• Ensure all developed code passes automated quality and security scans (e.g., SAST) with remediation of findings prior to completion.
• Identify, report, analyze, and remediate technical debt as prioritized by the government.
• Research and prototype emergent technologies, including AI/ML, low-code/no-code, automation, and AI-assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide design of technical solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and built on nonproprietary, open-standard code

• Ensure all developed code passes all automated quality and security scans (e.g., SAST), with all new Blocker, Critical, or High findings remediated prior to task completion
• Responsible for identifying, reporting, analyzing, and executing the remediation of technical debt as prioritized and assigned by the government
• Research, prototype with, and mentor team members in the use of emergent technologies, including but not limited to AI/ML, low-code/no-code platforms, automation, and AI-assisted coding tools
