Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) seeks a Test Engineer at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL to join a government-focused testing team. You will manage manual and automated testing, design automated scripts, and maintain detailed test cases.

Required are a BS in CS or related field, 5 years in a similar role, DoD 8570 Level II/III, and active security clearance; Jira/Zephyr experience is expected; Cypress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and execute all manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression, security, and performance testing, providing status to the Government Test Manager
• Design, develop, and maintain a suite of robust and reusable automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and database testing
• Create and maintain detailed, step-by-step manual test cases in the government-approved test management tool
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including clear documentation in the government-approved tracking system, direct collaboration with developers to troubleshoot, and verification of all bug fixes
• Support all RMF activities by providing testing evidence, reports, and other related artifacts upon request
