Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Sr. Test Automation Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of store technology solutions.

You will partner with engineering, product, and business teams to identify risks, contribute to user stories, define test strategies, and build scalable automation solutions. The role requires strong QA mindset, creativity, and experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA automation.
• Experience writing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with MongoDB, Node.js, and AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, or JMeter.
• Experience defining and reviewing test cases and test plans, with ability to identify business risks and contribute to user story definition.
• Knowledge or experience with pipelines, Jenkins, and CI/CD Processes.

• Bring creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to quality challenges for store technology.

Role: Sr. Test Automation Engineer Location : Irving, TX Onsite job. This role is not open for subcontracting. Open to W2 /Individual C2C or 1099 candidates only. This role partners with engineering, product, and business teams to identify business risks, contribute to user story definition, define and review test strategies, and build scalable automation solutions. The engineer will bring a strong QA mindset, creativity, and an ability to think outside the box while working on technology at the heart of store operations.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in QA automation.

Required Skills

• Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Minimum 6 years of experience in QA automation, including experience writing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with MongoDB, Node.js, and AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with one or more test tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, or JMeter.
• Experience defining and reviewing test cases and test plans, with the ability to identify business risks and contribute to user story definition.
• Knowledge or experience with pipelines, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Skills

• Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Desired but Not Required) Practical experience with web testing or web development.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, and Gherkin.
• Experience working in SCRUM environments.
• Experience with performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Preferred Industry Experience Experience with convenience retail, store technology, point-of-sale, or other high-availability retail systems is preferred.
