Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a fully onsite 6-month contract in Irving, TX. The role focuses on building and improving automated tests across web applications.

You will design, develop, and review test cases and automation frameworks from scratch, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (including Jenkins), and work closely with engineering in a SCRUM environment to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA automation.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in QA automation, including automation frameworks from scratch.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Java, or C#.
• At least 1 year with MongoDB, Node.js, and AWS (Lambda/Step Functions/CloudWatch).
• Hands-on with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, or JMeter.
• Experience defining test cases and test plans, and identifying business risks.
• Knowledge of pipelines, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
