Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience, preferably in retail or customer facing digital environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services with Postman or REST Assured.

• Partner with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and quality standards.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.
• Validate functionality, usability, performance, and reliability across multiple regions, languages, and devices.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of defects, regression issues, and enhancement requests.
• Develop and enhance automated testing coverage using industry standard testing frameworks and tools.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Monitor and communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to project teams.
• Contribute to QA process improvements, documentation standards, and adoption of testing best practices.

Role Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital products that support a global retail ecosystem. This position partners closely with product, engineering, and business teams to validate solutions across mobile, web, and backend platforms while ensuring exceptional user experiences.

In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and resolve quality issues, and help establish best practices for both manual and automated testing. You will contribute directly to product success by ensuring releases meet functional, performance, and business requirements across diverse markets, languages, and user environments.

Key Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience, preferably within retail or customer facing digital environments

• Hands on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Strong understanding of end to end retail operations and their impact on digital workflows and customer experiences
• Experience supporting globally deployed applications across multiple regions, languages, and market requirements
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms such as AWS, and modern DevOps practices
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills
