Powerus is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop automated production test stations and software for aircraft, electronics, and controllers at our Rock Hill, SC facility.

You will develop functional test software using Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand, create robust test fixtures, and integrate stations with the MES while recording results by serial number. U.S. Person status is required due to ITAR/EAR-controlled data access.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing automated test software in Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot at the board level.
• Experience with test instruments such as power supplies, DMMs, and oscilloscopes.

Position Overview

• Design test fixtures and select instruments with hardware and manufacturing engineering
• Integrate test stations with the manufacturing execution system and record results by serial number
• Develop operator interfaces for production technicians
• Analyze test data to reduce cycle time and false failures
• Maintain test stations and support production

Qualifications

• Must be located in the United States, within commuting distance of Rock Hill, SC
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Professional experience developing automated test software in Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand
• Experience controlling test instruments such as power supplies, DMMs, and oscilloscopes
• Experience with embedded communication interfaces such as UART, CAN, and Ethernet
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot at the board level
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)); this role involves access to ITAR- and EAR-controlled technical data

• Experience with production test in electronics manufacturing
• Experience with RF test equipment
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems
• Experience with test fixture design
• Active or prior U.S. security clearance
