Job summary

Powerus is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to configure, integrate, and support the MES and related production software. You will focus on serial and lot traceability, test data capture, and production reporting in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on MES configuration, API integration, and scripting in Python or C#. It involves ITAR/EAR-controlled data and a US Person status.

Qualifications

• Located in the United States within commuting distance of Rock Hill, SC.

• Experience configuring or supporting an MES in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Python, C#, or another scripting language.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs.
• U.S. Person status required due to ITAR/EAR controls.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the MES, including routings, work instructions, and data collection
• Integrate MES with ERP, test stations, and inventory systems

• Develop production dashboards and reports on output, yield, and work in progress
• Write scripts and services to connect test equipment and stations to the MES
• Support production users and resolve system issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience configuring or supporting an MES in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Python, C#, or another scripting language
• Experience integrating systems through APIs
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)); this role involves access to ITAR- and EAR-controlled technical data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP
• Experience with electronics manufacturing traceability

What We Look For

Candidates should have implemented or substantially extended an MES in a discrete manufacturing environment and should be able to describe a production decision made from the data it produced.
