Job summary

UZURV – The Adaptive TNC is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions ensuring quality and performance of our software applications. You will build scalable test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in software QA and test automation, strong Java skills, and experience with Selenium WebDriver, REST APIs, and Git within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD platforms.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Analyze requirements to develop test strategies and cases; document defects in JIRA.

A Little Bit About The Role

As Test Automation Engineer, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate has experience building scalable test automation frameworks, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with software developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality software.

To Be Successful At UZURV, You Will

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend applications. You will work as part of an engineering team delivering high‑value features for the business.

Test Automation Development

• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end test suites.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable test automation code following industry best practices.

Quality Assurance

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA.
• Perform root cause analysis for test failures and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure automated tests execute efficiently within deployment workflows.
• Monitor test execution results and improve pipeline stability.

Collaboration

• Partner with software engineers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives.
• Advocate for quality‑first development practices and shift‑left testing.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.

We’re Excited About You Because You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
