Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider in the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication market. We actively contribute to the development of this technology that we passionately believe in, through which transportation can become safer, more efficient, and more sustainable.

Responsibilities:

• Testing of our car-to-car communication software stack, as well as safety and efficiency applications for different regions (such as EU, US, Asia)
• Planning, documentation, and implementation of automated test cases using a Java-based test framework
• Analyzing and reporting the results of automated regression test sets
• Create and manage bug reports, support issue resolution — including handling issues reported by customers
• Collaborate closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues
• Communicate with customers when needed to clarify and address reported problems

Requirements:

• Proven experience in test automation or software development using Java (required) and Python for scripting
• Solid understanding of network systems and protocols
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Great communication skills in English

Advantages:

• Experience in embedded Linux system testing (e.g. Yocto, OpenEmbedded, OpenWRT, DD-WRT)
• Experience in real-time operating systems
• ISTQB certificate
• Driver's license: we do field tests with cars regularly
• Experience in AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR environments as a test engineer or test automation engineer
