Job summary

RASIRC seeks a meticulous Cleanroom Electrical Technician to assemble, test, validate, and troubleshoot production electronics in a fast-paced environment. The role supports the Director of Operations within the Manufacturing department and requires strong collaboration with engineers and quality personnel.

Qualified candidates have at least an AA degree in electronics, 5+ years of hands-on board-level diagnostics, and proficiency with test equipment and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience with board component level diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to utilize test equipment and tools related to electronics assembly and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrable soldering/de-soldering skills for through-hole and SMT components.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Cleanroom Electrical Technician is working for the Director of Operations performing product assembly, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly of production electrical and electronic systems, subsystems and cable assemblies
• Testing and validation of production assemblies
• Troubleshoot and repair prototype and production system failures to the component level.
• Analyze and record test results.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality personnel in continuous improvement activities.
• Review work instructions related to electronic testing and assembly and provide recommendations if needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Minimum AA Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience with board component level diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to utilize test equipment and tools related to electronics assembly and troubleshooting.
• Demonstratable skills or certification in soldering/de-soldering of thru hole and SMT components
• Ability to read and understand diagrams, procedures, drawings and schematics.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
