The Opportunity

As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will work with a team to create test plans and documentation supporting Navy communication systems acquisition strategies. You will develop and maintain T&E Master Plans (TEMP) aligned with DoD and Navy guidance, and collaborate with Navy stakeholders, developers, engineers, and cyber experts to identify testing requirements, coordinate resources, and ensure successful test execution.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support program integration plans and conduct activities with the user and DoD community.
• Identify and maintain metrics to evaluate T&E success and recommend improvements.
• Analyze system requirements, develop test plans and procedures, and conduct testing and data analysis.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to designing and delivering modernized systems and software.

You Have

• 5+ years of engineering experience supporting test events with hardware configurations.
• Knowledge of government T&E concepts, acquisition, and operations.
• Ability to work with developers, clients, and leadership effectively.
• Strong task management skills and ability to handle discrepancy reports.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and hold a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Software, or Cyber.

Nice If You Have

• Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• DAU T&E Level I and II Certification or CTEP Certification.

Clearance

Secret clearance required; candidates will undergo security investigation.

Compensation

Salary range: $86,900 - $198,000 annually. Benefits include health, life, disability, retirement, paid leave, professional development, and more. The posting closes in 90 days.
