Job Description

Pay: Wages based on skill set: Entry level: $21.00 - $24.00, Mid-Level: $35.00 - $37.00, Senior Level: $40.00 - $45.00. The pay listed is the salary range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

This position is responsible for performing Test & Balance on HVAC and Exhaust equipment, hydronic systems, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all protocols, including OSHA 10 basics.
• Collaborate with experienced HVAC technicians in an automotive facility.
• Maintain system and equipment balance during installations and de-installations.
• Troubleshoot issues related to design and air requirements of mechanical equipment.
• Work as a team, ensuring safety and accountability.
• Assist in emergencies during evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to become a Sheet Metal Workers Union #67 member.
• Pass a drug screening and background check, including criminal history checks as specified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hard worker eager to learn and grow in the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing industry.
• Ability to follow work plans and ask questions about deviations.
