Job summary

Talentify is seeking a field-based tester to administer ASVAB and enlistment tests at MEPS and remote locations, ensuring proper procedures and security are followed. You will operate computer-based testing systems and support test participants in a compliant environment.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 100%), intermittent hours, and compliance with background checks and lifting requirements. This is a demanding, service-oriented position with responsibilities across multiple testing

About the Position

Administers written or computer based Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Tests at Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) or other remote testing sites to determine individual qualifications for military service enlistment.

This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis". Intermittent employees are not eligible for benefits.

Duties

• Conducts specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 person (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
• Instruct applicants on testing procedures and starts, observes, times, and ends the test or test segment as directed.
• Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests.
• Responsible for the security and accountability of student test booklets, at home, during transport, and at the testing location.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Employee must possess a valid driver's license to conduct test in remote locations or at schools.
• Employee may travel up to 100% of the time. This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.
• Incumbent must complete and receive a favorable determination from required background checks.
• Incumbent required to lift up to 30 lbs. (Transfer of controlled test material and equipment to/from authorized storage facilities to testing sites, as required.)
