Job summary

USMEPCOM is seeking staff to administer aptitude testing for enlistment and student programs. The role involves directing sessions, supervising test administration, and ensuring secure handling of test materials across multiple locations.

You will work with computer-based testing systems and coordinate with school and remote site personnel. Candidates must meet federal qualification standards and may travel 100% to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

  • Employee must possess a valid driver's license to conduct test in remote locations or at schools.

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 100% of the time. This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.

  • Incumbent required to lift up to 30 lbs. (Transfer of controlled test material and equipment to/from authorized storage facilities to testing sites, as required.)

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as: 1) Presenting oral instructions to individuals and/or groups; 2) Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed; 3) Utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.

Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

OR


Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.

Education
