Job summary

Napleton’s Volkswagen of Orlando is seeking a Tesla Technician to join our service team. This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $6,000 and the opportunity to work in a climate-controlled shop with organized tools and paid manufacturer certifications.

You will perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, communicate with the parts department and service advisors, and stay current with factory bulletins for ongoing training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Tesla repair or maintenance experience preferred.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on repair order per dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including customers.
• Stay updated with factory technical bulletins and training classes.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextTesla Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located atNapleton’s Volkswagen of Orlando, theTesla Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Telsa Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
