Job summary

Napleton’s Volkswagen of Sanford is seeking a Tesla Technician to repair and maintain vehicles per dealership and factory standards. The role will diagnose issues, communicate with Parts and Service teams, and help build trust with customers through clear explanations and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Tesla technician experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order to factory standards.
• Coordinate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage workflow.
• Diagnose faults and perform timely repairs.
• Explain repairs clearly to customers and non-technical staff.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and training.
• Maintain an organized work area.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Tesla Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton’s Volkswagen of Sanford, the Tesla Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Telsa Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
