Job summary

Napleton's Volkswagen of Orlando, part of the Ed Napleton Automotive Group, is hiring a Tesla Technician to perform repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role builds customer loyalty by delivering trustworthy service and clear communication.

The position offers top-of-market pay, up to a $6,000 sign-on bonus, paid training, and manufacturer certifications. Flexible shifts, climate-controlled shop, and opportunities for career advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Tesla Technician experience preferred or required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and 18+ years of age.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle issues per OEM standards.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and manufacturer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair orders to OEM standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (customers/employees).
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Maintain an organized work area and keep management informed of issues.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Tesla Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton's Volkswagen of Orlando, the Tesla Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Telsa Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver's License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
