Job summary

Unplugged Performance is seeking an enthusiastic inside sales advocate for Tesla owners. You’ll guide customers from first inquiry through build completion, coordinating with sales, operations, and fulfillment to deliver a world-class experience.

You will spec suspension, wheels, aero, and brakes, communicating with customers through phone, email, and social channels, with a focus on trust and a standout customer journey.

Qualifications

• Sales experience with commission-based sales preferred.
• Active personal social media presence and a Facebook account you actually use.
• Proven ability to build trust in online communities and convert that trust into business.
• Strong automotive background; Tesla or EV knowledge is a big plus.
• Understanding of what makes a great customer experience before and after the sale.
• Excellent follow-up cadence and organization to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
• Patience; enthusiasts ask questions and builds take time.
• Clear, friendly written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with Excel, email, and CRM systems.
• Willingness to work in-office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Use CRM (Close.io experience strongly preferred) to track interactions, follow-ups, and opportunities.
• Talk with current and prospective customers by phone, email, chat, and social media to advise upgrades.
• Work warm and cold leads with equal energy and convert into customers.
• Follow up on inbound leads and introduce new products relevant to their vehicle.
• Convert inquiries into booked appointments, orders, and long-term relationships.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate notes in CRM.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly.
