Job summary

Curitec is seeking a Clinical Wound Care Representative to support long‑term care facilities in the New Orleans territory. This field-based, hands-off clinical role blends wound care expertise with education, relationship building, customer service, and business development.

You will work independently within your territory, educating facility teams on advanced wound care products and Medicare Part B coverage while partnering with leadership to ensure compliant documentation and reimbursement

Qualifications

• Current and active RN, LPN/LVN, PT, or PTA license.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on wound care experience.
• Wound care certification strongly preferred.
• Strong wound care product and dressing knowledge.
• Exemplary customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Round with facility wound care teams in a hands-off educational and support role.
• Educate clinicians on advanced wound care products, appropriate product selection, application, and utilization.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for facility staff regarding wound care products and Medicare Part B coverage guidelines.
• Learn to understand and apply Medicare documentation requirements and reimbursement guidelines through Curitec's training program.
• Educate facility teams regarding documentation requirements associated with Medicare Part B wound care products.
• Support facility wound care programs through education, product knowledge, organization, tracking, and consistent follow-up.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with wound care nurses, Directors of Nursing, administrators, practitioners, and other facility leadership.
• Enter and manage wound care product orders through Curitec's systems.
• Ensure required documentation and follow-up are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen facility partnerships and support growth within the territory.
• Participate in sales and marketing efforts to develop and maintain business.
• Independently manage your territory, facility schedule, follow-up responsibilities, and priorities.
