Job summary

Kenworth Sales Company is expanding its truck sales team across multiple locations. The Truck Sales Representative will solicit and assist customers in ordering and purchasing trucks within an assigned territory, maintaining relationships and developing new business.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $150,000, with benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and opportunities for advancement through internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Strong product and industry knowledge (truck/heavy equipment sales preferred).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Presentation skills.
• Proficiency w/ Microsoft suite of programs.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• CDL required or ability to obtain.
• Experience in direct sales or related industries is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Motivation to succeed

Responsibilities

• Prospect and maintain customer relationships.
• Stay informed on market trends and customer needs.
• Develop strategies to secure orders.
• Utilize specifications program.
• Coordinate with internal departments (parts, service, finance/insurance, marketing).
• Handle customer complaints and follow up on all leads.
• Report on competitive activity.
• Stay updated on product offerings.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
