Job summary

PODS Enterprises, LLC seeks a results-driven Operations Manager to lead storage center operations in a defined territory. You will direct daily activities of centers and staff, meet customer expectations, and optimize routing and driver assignments while maintaining OSHA, DOT, and preventive maintenance programs.

You will recruit and develop top talent, coach teams, and partner with HR to manage performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. A CDL‑B or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or a minimum of 1 year of prior management experience.
• Ability to apply and successfully attain PODS forklift certification.
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license from the state in which position is assigned.
• Mechanical ability essential to identify problems with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, identify and retain top talent.
• Provide daily support including coaching and hands-on/ride-along training for associates.
• Support a culture aligned with PODS core values: Integrity, Delighting Customers, Engagement, Accountability, Support Through Teamwork.
• Effectively administer PODS performance management process.
• Report employee issues to Territory Manager and Regional HRBP; maintain HR communications and paperwork.
• Provide regular communication to team members including goals and key focus areas.
• Ensure daily pre-shift meetings are conducted at each Storage Center.
• Manage customer experience to meet PODS CSAT/DSAT goals; follow up on issues and implement training.
• Manage corporate assets, daily routing, ETA/JPH, and scheduling.
• Coordinate repairs and ensure paperwork is returned; maintain driver/checklists and logs.
• Ensure safe, clean, organized storage centers and promptly repair equipment.
• Perform driver functions when the business requires.
