Job summary

PODS is seeking a Territory Operations Manager in the Chesapeake area to oversee daily operations of two or more storage centers within a designated territory. You will direct operations, coordinate drivers, and ensure OSHA/DOT compliance and maintenance programs across locations.

The role requires travel within the territory, strong leadership, coaching, and the ability to drive performance and customer satisfaction across PODS locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years of prior management experience.
• Ability to apply and successfully attain CDL Class B License or higher is preferred.
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license from the state in which position is assigned.
• Must be able to obtain PODS forklift certification.
• Possession of a valid DOT medical card is preferred.
• Mechanical ability essential to identify problems with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day storage centers and associates within territory.
• Meet customers’ expectations and manage daily routing and driver assignments.
• Maintain OSHA, DOT and preventative maintenance programs for storage centers and equipment.
• Lead associates, coach and train to deliver PODS service standards.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations and local permits; report issues to HR and operations.
• Travel within local territory to different centers as required.
