Job summary

PODS Enterprises, LLC in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Market Operations Manager II (Warehouse/Transportation) to oversee daily operations at multiple storage centers in the territory. You will direct associates, manage routing and driver assignments, and ensure OSHA/DOT compliance and preventive maintenance.

You’ll drive operational excellence, coach staff, monitor performance metrics, and resolve issues to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or 3 years of prior management experience.
• CDL Class B license or higher preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver license from the assigning state.
• DOT medical card preferred.
• Mechanical ability to identify equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, identify and retain top talent.
• Provide daily coaching and hands-on/ride-along training for associates.
• Support PODS core values and administer performance management processes.
• Manage daily routing and ETA/JPH performance for associates; communicate delays.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT compliance and safety programs are followed.
• Oversee daily pre-shift meetings and equipment maintenance tasks.
