Job summary

Empire Distributors Inc. is hiring a Sales Trainee in Greensboro to support customer growth and market presence. The role involves calling on regular and prospective customers, presenting items for distribution, and handling order-related issues.

You will assist in sales planning, maintain accounts, and help track progress toward weekly goals. A valid state ABC license and driver’s license are required, with a commitment to training and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• State ABC license and valid driver's license with continuous auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Travel designated territories daily to solicit orders and present items for distribution.
• Support Sales Representative routes as needed and quote prices and terms.
• Coordinate with District Manager to resolve customer problems and issues with deliveries.
• Merchandise products to shelves according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Assist with tracking reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and sales plans.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in supplier work-withs as required.
• Distribute POS materials and build promotional displays in markets.
• Ensure compliance with local and state laws and assist with store resets.
