  • Note - This is a regional remote position. You will be required to live in the New Mexico region to be considered for this opportunity.

Hunts within a defined territory to prospect and win new small to medium business customers. B2Bs are also responsible for ramping up and onboarding new accounts to expand our customer base. It is a high-velocity sales position that leverages a prioritized call list to drive prospect engagement remotely via phone, video, face-to-face, and digital tools.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Exhibit effective appointment setting skills and set the required number of appointments each week with the correct decision-makers.
  • Utilize professional selling skills to discover prospects' incremental and programmatic needs.
  • Effectively communicate Staples' value propositions, capabilities, products, and assortments across all categories.
  • Overcome objections and close sales.
  • Use prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities, drive efficiency, and document customer engagement (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
  • Work with customer support and category specialists to progress deals toward closure.
  • Implement and ramp up wins, ensuring compliance with new accounts and programs.
  • Understand prospect industry buying processes and support product selection and standardization.
  • Create sticky accounts that continue purchasing from Staples.
  • Incorporate feedback from prospects into sales approaches.
  • Manage new customer assortment and pricing strategies.
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with Category Specialists and Support teams.
  • Maintain professional communication with prospects daily, in person and face-to-face.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience or as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
  • 3+ years experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools.
  • Industry knowledge is a plus.
