- Note - This is a regional remote position. You will be required to live in the New Mexico region to be considered for this opportunity.

Hunts within a defined territory to prospect and win new small to medium business customers. B2Bs are also responsible for ramping up and onboarding new accounts to expand our customer base. It is a high-velocity sales position that leverages a prioritized call list to drive prospect engagement remotely via phone, video, face-to-face, and digital tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Exhibit effective appointment setting skills and set the required number of appointments each week with the correct decision-makers.
- Utilize professional selling skills to discover prospects' incremental and programmatic needs.
- Effectively communicate Staples' value propositions, capabilities, products, and assortments across all categories.
- Overcome objections and close sales.
- Use prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities, drive efficiency, and document customer engagement (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
- Work with customer support and category specialists to progress deals toward closure.
- Implement and ramp up wins, ensuring compliance with new accounts and programs.
- Understand prospect industry buying processes and support product selection and standardization.
- Create sticky accounts that continue purchasing from Staples.
- Incorporate feedback from prospects into sales approaches.
- Manage new customer assortment and pricing strategies.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with Category Specialists and Support teams.
- Maintain professional communication with prospects daily, in person and face-to-face.

Basic Qualifications
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience or as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
- 3+ years experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Knowledge of CRM tools.
- Industry knowledge is a plus.
