Territory Sales Representative (Regional Remote)

This is a regional remote position; candidates must reside in the New Mexico region to be considered.

About Staples: Staples is a business-to-business company. You will be responsible for prospecting and winning new small to medium business customers within your territory. This high-velocity sales role involves engaging prospects remotely via phone, video, face-to-face meetings, and digital tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Set effective appointments with decision makers weekly.
  • Utilize professional selling skills to discover customer needs.
  • Communicate Staples' value propositions across all categories.
  • Overcome objections and close sales.
  • Use prescribed tools (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC) for activity prioritization and documentation.
  • Collaborate with support teams and category specialists to advance deals.
  • Implement strategies to expand and retain accounts.
  • Understand industry buying processes and support product standardization.
  • Create long-term customer relationships to ensure continued purchases.
  • Incorporate customer feedback into sales approaches.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and communicate professionally with prospects daily.
Qualifications:
  • Strong drive, resilience, and a competitive mindset.
  • Experience in business development and consultative selling.
  • Proficiency in virtual and in-person presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze industry trends and tailor solutions.

Minimum Requirements:
