Job summary

Patterson Dental Supply, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive profitable growth by developing and advancing dental offices within a defined territory.

You will build relationships with doctors and staff, demonstrate products, discuss ROI, and maintain accurate records to support sales activities. Join a people-first, results-driven culture with competitive benefits and earnings potential based on commission and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field is required or preferred.
• Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate.
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.
• You must also possess a valid driver's license.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 'practice partner' mentality with Doctors and staff; analyze business needs and discuss ROI and tax advantages; coordinate product demonstrations; discuss trends in the dental industry.
• Be well versed on Patterson products, competitive intelligence and industry information.
• Maintain accurate records for prospects, customer orders, sales records and other financial activity.
• Other duties related to the Territory Sales Representative position.

Essential Functions

Job Qualifications

What background and experience is needed as a Territory Sales Representative?

• Bachelor\'s degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years of business to business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• A strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are required.
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
• General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.
• You must also possess a valid\'s driver's license.
• 3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.

Compensation: This position is paid on a commission basis.
