We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Territory Sales Representative to develop and grow business throughout the Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo markets.
This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with dental practices, expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue growth across an assigned territory. - Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new dental practice customers through in-person visits, networking, presentations, and consistent follow-up.
- Consultative Selling: Meet with dentists and their teams to understand their needs and present solutions that support practice efficiency, patient care, and business growth.
- Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with dentists, office managers, and dental practice teams while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.
- Field Sales: Conduct regular in-person visits to dental offices, deliver presentations, and maintain consistent communication with prospective and existing customers.
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets, maintain an active pipeline, and track sales activities and opportunities through CRM systems.
- Customer Relationships: Serve as a trusted point of contact for dental practices, coordinate internal resources, and help ensure a positive customer experience.
- Market Awareness: Monitor competitor activity, dental industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B outside sales experience, preferably in the dental, medical device, healthcare, or related industries, but not required.
- Proven track record of developing territories, acquiring new customers, and consistently achieving sales goals.
- Experience calling on dentists, dental practices, or other healthcare professionals a bonus.
- Strong prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays.
