Job summary

The Louisiana Lottery Corporation (LLC) will hire a Sales Representative to maintain a route in New Orleans and surrounding areas. The sales team is composed of highly motivated individuals who use their skills to help LLC meet its goals while upholding LLC and industry standards.

Responsibilities include selling to retail outlets, marketing the Lottery product line, and maximizing revenue through targeted sales activity, promotions, and strong vendor relations in the defined territory.

Qualifications

• Experience with implementing marketing, merchandising, and sales programs on a wholesale level within a geographic area.
• Associates or better in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors territory sales activity and lottery product distribution daily.
• Defines sales goals and initiatives for individual retailer accounts.
• Analyzes data to plan, prioritize and execute sales activities.
• Works with Sales Support staff and retailers to merchandise Lottery products to maximize sales.
• Ensures marketing directives, initiatives and programs are rolled out within territory.
• Develops and executes sales promotions with retail outlets to achieve defined goals.
• Maintains familiarity with vendor applications and interprets sales reports and related data.
• Uses LLC resources to maintain/improve sales quality, timeliness, and scope in the territory.
• Provides training to retailers on equipment usage, product information, and sales techniques.
• Completes retailer licensing and renewals with Lottery personnel.
• Identifies potential new retail outlets and creates recruitment plans.
• Remains current on products, regional activities, and industry trends.
• Performs other duties as required by management.
