Job summary

Purple Wave Auction is seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to grow our Northwest Ohio presence. This role focuses on building relationships with ag, fleet, and construction clients, promoting auction services, and driving opportunities across the region.

You will travel up to 75% of the time, educate clients on our auction processes, and manage opportunities in CRM to keep the team aligned. A strong sales background and local market insight are essential for success in this fast-growing

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of successful sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, and government industries.
• Ability to use CRM and other technologies to manage information.
• Self-motivated with a proactive deal-making mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and ethics in selling.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and customers to grow Purple Wave’s presence in Northwest Ohio.
• Educate clients on auction services and how they can leverage Purple Wave for selling or buying equipment.
• Enter and manage customer information and opportunities in CRM to ensure team-wide visibility and follow-up.
• Support all phases of the auction process and represent Purple Wave at events and on-site visits.
• Build trust with heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers and promote our services.
• Promote upcoming auctions through equipment promotions and packages.
• Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries with professionalism.
• Travel within assigned territory to cultivate opportunities and close deals.
