Territory Sales Manager- Payroll/HCM

Position Overview

Our Territory Sales Manager role is essential for any sales company, and uniquely at Heartland, it combines leadership and active selling. If you are experienced in sales and eager to lead a team without leaving your sales role behind, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities include driving revenue growth, acquiring new business, recruiting, and leading a team of sales professionals. You will work closely with your Division Manager to set appointments, uncover client needs, and present Heartland solutions across various vertical markets such as restaurants, retail, medical, manufacturing, lodging, auto repair, and salons.

Training and Tools

During onboarding, your Division Manager will train you on our sales process and CRM platform, Atlas. You will also coach your team to achieve their sales goals, working primarily from a home office with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver engaging sales presentations.
  2. Utilize Atlas CRM on your tablet to demonstrate our solutions.
  3. Educate clients and referral partners about Payroll/HCM offerings.
  4. Maintain regular communication with your Division Manager.
  5. Train and mentor your sales team.
  6. Recruit new sales talent.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively (75% of the time).
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Resident in the area relative to the job location.
Compensation & Benefits

This role is commission-based, with potential earnings of $90,000 - $105,000+ in the first year for top performers, including residuals and portfolio ownership. Benefits include health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and recognition programs. Details at: Global Payments Benefits.
