Job Description

The Agency Outside Sales Territory Senior Consultant is responsible for soliciting new business from agents and maintaining current business levels by meeting territory volume and profit objectives, while maintaining and growing relationships between National General Insurance, potential agents, current agents, and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fully Remote - Location Specific to Eastern Tennessee: Needs to reside in the Eastern TN region due to field travel.
  2. Achieves agreed-upon new business production, direct written premium, loss ratio goals, and other KPIs on an annual basis by effectively managing the agents of an assigned territory.
  3. Terminates agents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other causes.
  4. Increases the percentage of producing agents within the territory through additional training and process improvements.
  5. Recommends agencies to participate in profit-sharing, rewards, and special incentives programs, and other agency sales initiatives.
  6. Solicits new agencies, evaluates their potential to write quality new business, and recommends qualified new agencies for appointment to the Regional Sales Managers and/or Sales Vice Presidents.
Education

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation: $69,200 - $86,600 - $103,900 USD
