Job description

*MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, MARKET DEVELOPMENT, OR OUTSIDE SALES. THIS IS A HUNTER MENTALITY SALES ROLE - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.*

Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Identify, prospect, and sell to new customers
  2. Achieve sales goals through successful selling to new customers
  3. Manage all aspects of your sales territory
  4. Use the company’s sales automation tools to assist in managing your territory
  5. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the corporate office staff and the field sales organization

  2. Self-disciplined, able to manage a territory from a home-office
  3. Proven success in prospecting new customers
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Outgoing and friendly personality
  6. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications/Experience:

  1. Experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in the foodservice or hospitality industry
  2. Results-oriented sales leader with a proven record of exceeding sales targets
  3. Strong work ethic, negotiation, communication, and people skills
  4. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  5. Excellent presentation skills
  6. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  2. Five years of outside sales experience if educational requirements are not met

Other considerations:

  1. Ability to travel locally and manage sales territory from a home-based office
