Full-Time | Base Salary: $65,000–$67,000 + Commission + Car Allowance
About the Role:
Phillips Pet is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to support and grow our existing customer base while identifying new business opportunities in the Philadelphia market. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in the pet industry to join a dynamic and passionate team.
You’ll be responsible for managing relationships with pet stores, veterinarians, and other pet-related businesses, while also driving new sales and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage existing customer accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Present promotions and new product lines to increase sales.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in industry trade shows and maintain product knowledge.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of sales experience in the pet industry.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel

Qualifications

Position Requirements:
- Associates degree from an accredited college
- Five years’ sales experience
- Pet industry experience preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to leverage computerized systems and spreadsheets to measure and analyze efficiencies
- Must have a valid driver’s license; reside in assigned territory with auto and current auto insurance
- Travel within assigned territory; up to possibly 80% overnight travel may be required
