ABOUT COMPLETE SOLARIA

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager with experience in successfully selling innovative, premium products. Territory Sales Managers are responsible for creating demand from residential and commercial solar installers located in their respective target regions. This demand will be fulfilled generally by Complete Solaria’s distribution partners and, in certain cases, directly by Complete Solaria. Territory Sales Managers are expected to deliver high sales conversion rates and high customer satisfaction rates by setting and meeting commitments consistently. Successful sales are conducted with preset pricing and product specifications.

We are hiring for the Southwest and Southeast territories.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain minimum revenue quota, margin quota, and sales volumes on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain rolling short-term (quarterly) and long-term (12-month) sales forecasts.
  • Travel to trade shows, seminars, and other activities outside regular responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Identify and report industry trends that may affect the ability to sell Solaria modules.
  • Gather and report relevant competitive information.
  • Conduct effective sales communication with customers, including setting up meetings, preparing presentations, and agreements.
  • Generate new sales leads via networking, events, and personal contacts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communications, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Originate and submit all sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet all customer expectations as scheduled.
  • Nurture referral business and follow up diligently on open leads.
  • Maintain a positive, professional manner and attitude in all dealings as a Complete Solaria representative.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a channel sales role.
  • Knowledge of the rooftop solar industry, including solar panels, inverters, and racking, or relevant building materials industry experience.
  • Experience in growing sales into premium products for end consumers.
  • Proven closing expertise with premium products or services against low-price competitors.
  • Ability to generate referrals from positive customer experiences and contacts.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Confidence in overcoming customer objections.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, technical, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Driver’s License and a clean MVR.
