Job summary

Lift Solutions in Tampa, FL is seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. You will lead sales efforts, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth within the industrial lifting sector.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience (B2B preferred), knowledge of cranes, rigging, and related equipment is a plus, and willingness to travel overnight. College degree preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' outside sales experience required, B2B preferred.
• Experience in Industrial Lifting (wire rope, chain, rigging) preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high integrity.
• Proficient with presentation, selling, negotiation and listening skills.
• Highly effective communication skills for daily interactions with customers and prospects.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture Key Accounts.
• Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets with a focus on profitable growth within the territory.
• Market analysis of Top Accounts, business climate and competition.
• Become an expert in the industry with product knowledge to assist customers, including applications, training, and safety procedures.
• Support current customers and add value for prospects by introducing new products and training on safety requirements.
• Conduct customer-focused sales presentations and site visits.
• Create reports as needed and on a timely basis.
• Maintain data relative to accounts, prospects, and activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Become an expert in the industry with in-depth product knowledge to be a valuable resource for our customers, including applications, training, and safety procedures.
• Support current customers and value-add for prospects/opportunities by introducing new products and training on the safety requirements.
• Conduct Customer-Focused sales presentations and make construction site calls.
• Create reports as needed and on a timely basis.
• Maintain data relative to accounts, prospects, and activities, including customer interactions and documentation.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• 3-5 years' previous proven outside sales experience required, B2B preferred.
• Experience in the Industrial Lifting industry (wire rope, chain, and rigging; elevator) is preferred but not required.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
• Proficient with presentation, selling, negotiation, listening skills.
• Highly effective communication skills required - daily interactions with Warehouse Personnel, Wire Fabricators, Branch Managers, customers, and prospects.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Education:

• College degree preferred, not required.
• A familiarity with computer software applications such CRM, MS Office Suite.
