Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Sales Associate to support Sales Consultants and Area Managers by merchandising, servicing accounts, and selling to customers in Spokane and surrounding WA. You will build strong relationships, refill displays, and ensure products are stocked while learning SGWS products and sales processes.

The role requires ability to travel, a valid driver's license, a High School Diploma or GED, and comfort with mobile devices and SGWS technology.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws (where applicable)
• Able to analyze and understand data and information
• Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities
• Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner
• Able to take responsibility for own actions and results; commits to providing a consistent high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management
• Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concisely while appropriately tailoring message to audience
• Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Able to maintain a valid and current driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to travel as needed
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
• Responsible for servicing stores in assigned territories and refilling existing displays of products to keep company products fully stocked on the shelves
• Fill cold box and warm shelves at accounts with products sold by the Company
• Assemble, install, and fill all types of display racks
• Assist Sales Consultants and Area Managers in managing customer accounts and provide sales route coverage as needed
• Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them in each account
• Propose selling solutions to customers and win the sale using consultative selling skills
• Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management
• Participate in sales meetings, on-site trainings, and supplier events as required
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
