Job summary

H&K Equipment Group seeks a Territory Sales Associate to expand our Western NY forklift aftermarket and support our sales force across parts, service, rental and new equipment. You will cultivate relationships with current customers and win new business in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings sales experience, is mechanically inclined, and shows strong organizational and communication skills. Base salary with commission, and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Attain and maintain desired market position within assigned territory accounts.
• Make sales and support calls and communicate issues between corporate, retail network and customers.
• Increase aftermarket equipment sales and profits.
• Identify and work through customer problems, issues, and opportunities.
• Call on current and potential customers.
• Develop strategic plans with management to grow service accounts including rentals.
• Provide timely follow-up with customers, managers and staff.

H&K Equipment is the premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, utility vehicles, and more in Pittsburgh and the greater tristate area. Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle.

We are currently seeking aTerritory Sales Associatewho will help grow our established forklift truck territory and expand our parts, service, rental and sales presence in the Western, NY market. The position requires a self-starter to further cultivate, expand, and support an established customer base through after-market sales of parts and service, while working closely with our equipment sales force and operations personnel in fulfilling demand.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be mechanically inclined, possess strong organizational skills and thrive in a team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attain and or maintain desired market position with assigned territory accounts
• Make necessary sales and support calls and communication of issues between corporate, retail network and customer
• Increase aftermarket equipment sales and profits
• Must be able to effectively identify, communicate and work through customer problems, issues, and opportunities
• Call on current as well as potential customers
• Develop strategic plans and work with management to ensure growth of assigned service accounts including rental customers
• Consistently deliver timely follow-up with customers, managers and staff making communication a top priority

REQUIREMENTS

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 base + commission
