H&K Equipment is seeking a Territory Sales Associate to grow our Western New York market. You will cultivate, expand, and support an established customer base through aftermarket parts and service while collaborating with our sales and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has sales experience, is mechanically inclined, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills to thrive in a team environment. Salary includes commission opportunities and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Increase aftermarket equipment sales and profits.
• Identify, communicate and work through customer problems, issues, and opportunities.
• Call on current as well as potential customers.
• Develop strategic plans and work with management to ensure growth of assigned service accounts including rental customers.
• Consistently deliver timely follow-up with customers, managers and staff.

H&K Equipment is the premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, utility vehicles, and more in Pittsburgh and the greater tristate area. Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle.

We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Associate who will help grow our established forklift truck territory and expand our parts, service, rental and sales presence in the Western, NY market. The position requires a self-starter to further cultivate, expand, and support an established customer base through after-market sales of parts and service, while working closely with our equipment sales force and operations personnel in fulfilling demand.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be mechanically inclined, possess strong organizational skills and thrive in a team environment.
