Aetna Building Solutions, the Midwest’s premier distributor of building materials, is looking for a dynamic Territory Outside Sales Representative to drive growth, expand our market share, and build lasting customer relationships.
With over 85 years of industry leadership, we provide high-quality products—including Surfaces (laminate, quartz, solid surface), Composites, Hardwood Lumber, Plywood, and Hardware—to fabricators, contractors, and home builders. What You’ll Do:
Develop & Grow Your Territory – Identify new business opportunities, nurture customer relationships, and expand our market presence.
Close Deals & Drive Sales – Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our premium brands.
Strategic Account Management – Work closely with inside sales, product managers, and marketing to maximize opportunities.
Be an Industry Expert – Stay ahead of trends, participate in industry events, and leverage market knowledge to increase sales.
Collaboration & Reporting – Use CRM tools to track progress, analyze sales data, and contribute to company growth goals.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven Sales Experience – 2-3+ years in outside sales, preferably in building materials or interior finishes (laminate, solid surface, plywood, composites, etc.).
Results-Driven Attitude – Passion for sales, goal-oriented mindset, and ability to manage a complex sales pipeline.
Strong Communication Skills – Build lasting relationships with customers, listen to their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
Self-Motivation & Organization – Work independently while meeting targets and staying accountable.
Tech-Savvy Approach – Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
