Job summary

National Fleet Management is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to service commercial fleets across the Wilmington area. You will operate a fully equipped service truck, perform on-site repairs and preventive maintenance, and manage your day with independence while delivering quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing daily responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty commercial trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Accurately document repairs, parts used, and completed work.
• Maintain inventory and organization of your service truck.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building relationships with fleet customers.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
