Job summary

National Fleet Management is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to perform on-site repairs and preventive maintenance for commercial fleets within a local territory using a fully equipped service truck. You’ll work independently, manage your day, and support customers across designated areas.

The ideal candidate diagnoses heavy‑duty diesel equipment, performs DOT inspections, and documents work with precision while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty diesel equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy‑duty commercial trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Accurately document repairs, parts used, and completed work.
• Maintain inventory and organization of your company‑provided service truck.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building relationships with fleet customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
