Job summary

Mondelēz International is hiring a Territory Coverage Associate to convert staffing gaps into reliable execution across the territory. You will support Merchandisers and Order Writers, maintain brand standards, and ensure stores align with company expectations while representing iconic brands like Oreo, Ritz, and Chips Ahoy.

This role emphasizes in-store coverage, customer service to store teams, daily merchandising excellence, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
• Live inside the geographical boundaries of the team.
• Flexible Schedule availability required including weekends.
• Ability to travel across assigned markets.
• Ability to perform physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs, occasionally over 50 lbs, pushing, pulling).
• Mondelez International also offers a company vehicle, gas card and vehicle maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in stores with professionalism while supporting Merchandisers and Order Writers across the territory.
• Serve as a trusted field partner delivering strong customer service to store teams while reinforcing Mondelēz’s standards and expectations.
• Execute daily coverage: completing store visits using Merchandising Excellence standards, Order Writing Excellence, including capturing display photos and documenting execution through DMI & Sales force.
• Implement promotional displays: ensuring compliance with RTM-negotiated plans and maintaining strong visibility of our brands.
• Follow assigned schedules: executing daily priorities set by your District Manager or RTM to ensure efficient and effective territory coverage.
• Assist with seasonal transitions: supporting new product launches, seasonal merchandising, and high-visibility promotional events.
• Build and maintain relationships: partnering with store personnel including receivers, department managers, and store leadership to support smooth execution and collaboration.
• Support capability building: reinforcing foundational skills and assisting with the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.
• Develop for future leadership: building the operational, communication, and problem-solving skills that serve as a foundation for future advancement into management roles.
• Stay Safe and Compliant: lifting, bending, and moving product while following safety protocols, guidelines, and vehicle policies across the territory.
