Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Marketing Liaison to drive patient referrals and build strong relationships within our geographic territory. You will partner with hospitals, SNFs, and outpatient facilities to grow referrals while representing Encompass Health in the community.

You’ll use market data and call plans to identify opportunities, educate referral sources and clinicians on programs, and develop strategies to position the hospital effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably as a clinician or tech.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as nurse liaison or successful sales experience in healthcare.
• Familiarity with acute hospitals, rehab facilities, and local healthcare market.

Responsibilities

• Review medical conditions and pre-screen admissions from hospitals, SNFs, or care facilities.
• Develop call plans and strategies to drive referral volume using the Referral Development System (RDS).
• Use territory market analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Identify opportunities to position the hospital strategically in the marketplace.
• Respond to admission barriers and conduct timely follow-ups.
