Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Marketing Liaison in Tyler, TX to drive patient referrals and build strong relationships within the local healthcare community. You’ll partner with hospitals, SNFs, and physician groups to grow our inpatient rehabilitation services.

In this role, you’ll develop territory call plans, leverage market data, educate referral sources about hospital programs, and respond to admissions barriers to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a liaison or sales role.
• Familiarity with hospital and rehab facility networks.

Responsibilities

• Review medical conditions and pre-screen from the hospital/SNF/Home/Assisted Living Facility.
• Develop call plans and strategies to drive volume using the Referral Development System (RDS).
• Use market analysis data in the territory to identify new business opportunities.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Identify development opportunities to position hospital strategically in the marketplace.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow-up on admissions variables.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license in the employed state and an acceptable driving record as per company policy.
• CPR certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably as a clinician or tech.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as nurse liaison or successful sales experience in healthcare environment preferred.
• Familiarity with acute hospitals, rehab facilities, and the local healthcare market preferred.
