Job summary

FMC Corporation is seeking a Market Specialist to represent FMC Professional Solutions in the Mid-South region, driving demand and maximizing turf and ornamental sales. You will collaborate with marketing, product development and other teams to position products and train customers, with a strong emphasis on end-users and distributors in the specified territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field with golf/ornamental experience.
• 5+ years of sales or industry experience.
• Self-starter able to work remotely in a field-based role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales presentations, call plans, proposals and reports for internal and external communication.
• Focus on sales targets, business development, building customer relationships and resolving customer issues.
• Generate demand by delivering product-related information to customers, distributors, sales/tech reps, end users, consultant groups and others in the designated territory.
• Develop and execute sales plans; negotiate to meet sales targets if applicable.
• Obtain and communicate competitive practices and assist in the assessment of competitive information.
• Support internal campaigns through cross-functional alignment with Marketing and Key Account Management.
• Deliver CEU training to customers, distributors, and key accounts.
• Call on associations, trade groups, distribution reps, key end users, end-user service companies.
• Manage customer trials and demos to accumulate field data for product development and label expansion.
