Vylor, Inc. in East Central South Dakota is seeking a Pioneer Territory Manager to lead a high-performing sales team. You will develop strategies, recruit agents, and drive growth for Pioneer brands across the territory through on-farm engagements and partnerships with agents and growers.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales leadership experience, agronomy or related degree, and willingness to travel. A strong track record in negotiation and relationship-building will be essential, with travel

  • 3–5 years of sales experience, managing and coaching individuals.
  • Ag sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a rural environment.
  • Ability to pass a driving record background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Pioneer sales team to deliver growth and market share in East Central South Dakota.
  • Recruit, select, and retain a high-quality sales team to provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Coach on relationship-building, sales tactics, and negotiations through on-farm sales calls with Pioneer Agents.
  • Set and manage sales targets, discounts, and growth plans with each Pioneer Agent.
  • Maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer products and services.

If you have a passion for providing solutions to growers and developing and leading a high-performing team, this is a great opportunity for you!Responsibilities – What You Will Do:Sales LeadershipBuild and execute on a five-year growth plan and supporting tactics for your territory.Recruit, select, and retain a high-quality, professional sales team to deliver a differentiated customer experience and sustained market share growth.Coach effective relationship-building, sales tactics, and negotiations through on-farm sales calls with Pioneer Agents for both existing customers and prospects.Model the way in demonstrating integrity, determination, adaptability, passion, and collaboration.Work collaboratively and communicate consistently will all peers, supporting functions, leaders, and external partners.Serve as a role model, teacher, and coach to Pioneer Agents to develop skills and knowledge required to provide an exceptional customer experience and deliver results.Advocate for break through ideas and solutions up and down the chain of command.Set and manage sales targets, discounts, and growth plans with each Pioneer Agent for assigned customers and prospects.Anticipate market opportunities and threats, and position your sales team to react, adapt and overcome.Manage, strategically, the assignment of customers and prospects to Pioneer Agents to enable sustainable business growth.Maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer products and services.Troubleshoot customer concerns and work to identify and deliver mutually beneficial solutions.Requirements – What You Will Bring:Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing required. Will consider other degrees with related field sales experience.At least 3-5 years of sales experience, managing and coaching individuals. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
