Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company seeking a field-based sales professional for Advanced Repair and Reconstruction solutions. You will partner with surgeons and hospital staff, drive territory growth, and establish BD as the standard with on-site product education and service.

Local and international travel requirements are included with a focus on meeting sales and profitability goals while maintaining adherence to safety and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience; medical sales preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Understanding of needs/analysis in sales.
• Knowledge of product buyer concept and contract administration.
• Knowledge of group purchasing and proposal development.
• Valid driver's license with 3 years of driving history; background check and drug screening may apply.
• Able to travel at least 60% and meet customer access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support during procedures.
• Train physicians and hospital staff on product use.
• Meet territory sales and profitability goals.
• Develop new prospects and establish customers.
• Communicate pricing, policies, and forecasts.
• Attend meetings and tradeshows and report outcomes.
• Maintain product knowledge and distribution channels.
