A Day In The Life

As a Territory Manager at CVRx, you will play a pivotal role that combines market development expertise with hands-on technical support, ensuring the success of CVRx technologies in therapeutic applications. This role is dynamic and multi-faceted, offering a blend of strategic planning, educational support, and direct clinical engagement. To be successful in this role, you should possess professional presentation skills, product knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to close sales to meet or exceed targets.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develops and drives strategies, including resource development and deployment, to meet patient implant and revenue goals.
  • Ensures execution of strategies to deliver on metrics within the territory.
  • Demonstrates expert proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, forecasting, and CVRx business applications, with the ability to teach others.
  • Maintains thorough understanding of physiological and technical principles related to CVRx technologies and therapies.
  • Supports implant procedures, follow-up visits, troubleshooting, and provides technical assistance to healthcare providers and CVRx staff.
  • Handles technical inquiries and researches solutions.
  • Represents CVRx devices to cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and surgeons to ensure understanding of clinical therapy.
  • Provides on-call clinical support, training physicians, and delivering educational programs.
  • Contributes to R&D through customer feedback on products.
  • Adheres to sales processes, maintains accurate device records in Salesforce, and reports performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • BS or equivalent in health sciences, engineering, or business; experience may substitute education.
  • 7-10+ years in the medical device industry or related experience.
  • Experience with cardiology or related therapeutic devices.
  • Ability to understand complex medical and surgical concepts and execute commercial strategies.
  • Knowledge of market competitors and device advantages/disadvantages.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to forecast and meet goals.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and relationship-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, with reliable transportation.
  • Valid ID for domestic travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Healthcare experience beneficial.
  • Experience leading sales teams.
  • Success in clinical or CVRx commercial roles.
  • Ability to liaise with R&D for product feedback.
Working Conditions
  • Remote office environment.
  • Interface with internal teams and medical professionals.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Travel 60-75% plus.
  • Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet credentialing requirements.
